All Career Institute auto mechanic courses prepare students for more advanced careers in this field such as: Auto Mechanic/Service Technician, Service Manager and Master Mechanic, Industrial Machine Mechanic, Fleet Management, Safety Inspector/Test Driver.
This course provides entry-level skill training in suspension and steering, electrical/electronic systems, brakes, and engine performance. Learning areas also include engine tune-up, tires, auto cooling and operation of special electronic testing equipment. Career, technical and academic standards are integrated throughout the course. Work boots, text books, curriculum materials and a starter tool kit are provided. This is a 90 hour course (10 week program).

Upon completion, students receive a ROP certificate in entry-level mechanics and Career Institute helps with job placement upon graduation.

Class starts October 6th and ends December 17th. Instruction times are Thursdays from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be no instruction on the last Saturday of each month.
